Guidelines for Participating in The National Social Welfare Service

To access these services, individuals must register, provide accurate information, and be part of a registered household. This guideline explains how to get started, what is required, and how to complete your profile and household information.

Creating Your Profile

Before applying for any assistance, you must have a valid eFaas account.
  • Go to eFaas and sign up or sign in.
  • Complete your personal profile details.
  • Provide your current contact information.
  • Submit your profile for verification.

Eligibility

  • Be a Maldivian citizen or a legally eligible resident.
  • Be 18 years or older to create your own profile.
  • (Individuals under 18 can be added under a household created by a parent/guardian.)

Documents You May Need

  • National Identity Card (Maldivian ID)
  • Birth Certificate (for dependents/minors)
  • Contact details and current address information

Creating a Household

A household includes the people you live with and share daily living expenses with.

You must create a household or join one to receive benefits.

  • After completing your personal profile, go to Household Setup.
  • Enter your household address and living information.
  • Add members who live with you (you can invite them to join).
  • Submit the household details for verification.

Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must be the primary resident responsible for the household.

Documents You May Need

  • Proof of residence (if requested)
  • National ID information of household members
  • Supporting documents for dependents (if needed)
